Meeting time next year

• Tentatively weekly Mondays 6:15 pm Hopeman Conference Room
• 1^st Monday is Labor day
• Backup: Tuesday 6:15 pm

Textbook swap (aka Steve’s terrific idea)

• Textbook exchange during the first week of classes
• Primarily for upperclassmen
• Use the Hopeman conference room
• Do both semesters
• Classes begin Tues 9/2: possible date Thurs 9/4, 12-2/3 pm

 

Picnic

• Still no date for the activities fair (will be the Friday after)
• Book GVP through Jill…before summer (Joni)
• Need $90

 

Budget

• Dave – talk to Jill, get initial $ amount for next year
• We may be in the black with sweatshirts!

 

Pumpkin Launch

• Need to actually have launchers next year
• Get rules out by September (to RIT, Lavonia)
• Offer teams stipend?
• Reward for best launcher?

 

ASME student night

• Our year for student night!
• February 2009
• Venue? – Mel maybe
• Speaker – someone from UR

 

Other Events:

• Senior Section steak roast – next semester, good, cheap food
• Possible Rush events in the fall
  • Ice skating
  • Mythbusters + pizza in the Hopeman conference room (or a movie) – Eric coordinate
• Activities Fair! Possibly with a table next to Mini Baja
  • Taken car of at the beginning of the semester in August according to CC people – done online/will get emails
