o       UPDATE: Joni has the food safety form issues squared away and we can sell Papa John’s pizza at the Lego League!

-         Show up early to help out and you’ll get a free T-Shirt. Otherwise, be sure to show up for your pizza sales slot.

SWE / ASME Social Event

-         SWE suggested a collaborative event on an upcoming Friday. They suggested going tubing at Polar Wave. We could also combine that with a second design competition similar to the one last Friday.

-         Suggested date: 2nd Friday after we get back from winter break

-         Another potential idea: Igloo Building on campus (if we continue to have a lot of snow)

Roast

-         Check your calendars for conflicts. At the meeting, the preferred date was April 4th; if everyone can agree to this date, we can reserve the Mel soon.

-         Potential Conflict Dates:

            - April 11         (FE Exam)

            - April 18         (Passover)

            - March 21       (Easter)

-     E-mail any other potential conflicts.

-     Marc and Joni are to be the primary roast coordinators.

Engineering Week (2/17)

-         Design Competition Idea: Paper Gliders

            -           Gliders will circle from some height to the floor. This will take place                   either in Wilson Commons or in the atrium of Georgen.

            -           Possible judging criteria: Number of circuits before reaching floor,                                  longest airtime, ability for glider to circle around some vertical                            (like a rope suspended from the ceiling)

-         E-Week also involves tunnel painting and a trivia bowl. ASME team?
