Social Event (11/30)
- This Friday!!
- Plan:
o 7:00 General interest meeting
o 7:30 Activity (building competition)
o 10:30 Skating at GVP
- The current plan for the activity is building a structure out of pasta and marshmallows, aiming for the tallest/strongest.
- Steve will reserve Hopeman 224.
- Marc contacted GVP, and they are willing to offer a pass that will admit 20 skaters for $16. ASME will pay for the admission of the attendees.
- Total cost for the event: around $35, to cover skating, snacks, pasta and marshmallows.
- Marc sent out an e-mail to the ME classes. We’ll also have someone in each class make an announcement about the event.
Lego League (12/9)
- Current Pizza Sales Confirmed Volunteers:
o 11-12:30: Alissa, Dave, Marc, Steve, Gerald
o 12:30 – 2:00: Alissa, Dustin, Eric, Steve, Marc, Gerald
- Papa John’s Pizza
o Joni has been working on the food safety requirements, and he has called Papa John’s.
o We plan to purchase 65 pizzas (extra large, 16” cheese – 10 slices/pie). Pizzas cost $8.50 each ($0.85 per slice).
o Papa John’s should provide plates and napkins
- We might think about making additional Concessions signs / flyers to advertise pizza at the event.
