SLS Trip (10/6)
- Transportation
o Alissa, Marc, and Sarilyn are driving
o Departure: Friday, 1 PM (meet outside of Hopeman)
- Conference
o Dress: Business casual; wear an ASME polo if you have one.

- Other
o Wear an ASME shirt on Friday if you can!
o Remember a bathing suit (for the hotel) and snacks for the trip
Fall Social Event
- Bowling is unavailable on Thursday nights – they are closed for League Night
- We talked about Laser Tag as an alternative idea.
- Possible dates were Monday, October 22nd and Tuesday, October 23rd.
o Comment: I looked into the freshmen exam schedules, and many of them have a Math 161 exam on the morning of 10/23, and all of them have a ME104Q exam on the evening of 10/25. So, this could affect our date choice …
- Steve has the form to charter the bus.
Pumpkin Launch (11/2)
- Steve will send a copy of the Pumpkin Launch rules on e-mail. The only change we made to the rules was that extra points would be awarded for team spirit (costumes, etc).
- The suggestions for judges were Scott, Dean Burgett, and Professor Lambropoulos. We could also invite Professor Burns to come back and be a judge.
- Steve talked to the Library, and they had wanted to have the Pumpkin Launch on the same day as the Scare Fair. The Scare Fair is scheduled for the day of Halloween (a Wednesday). However, we decided to stick to the November 2nd date.
- Alissa is working on potential t-shirt / sweatshirt designs.
- We talked about getting a PA/amp if we are able to borrow one.
- We need more wooden stakes before the event, but there is still caution tape left.
- If anyone has ideas for flyers, or extra time to create a flyer, we need to put them up soon.
2nd Fall Social Event
- Tentative date: 11/30 (the Friday after Thanksgiving break)
- Proposed idea: something like ice-skating at GVP
