COURSE INFORMATION

There will be no TA office hours during the week of Thanksgiving. I will have my usual office hours on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Assignment #10 is on the web now. It is due Wednesday Dec. 2 with bonus, Thursday Dec. 3 without bonus. In the version handed out in class on Monday a Mathematica notebook, which was supposed to be attached, was missing. The online copy of the assignment has the notebook.

The project is on the web now and will be handed out in class on Monday Nov. 23. It is due on Friday Dec. 11 (the last day of classes) by 6 PM. A lecture covering the boundary value problem relevant for the project was originally scheduled for Wednesday Nov. 25. However, that is the very last class before Thanksgiving break and presumably many of you will be traveling then. Because of this I have cancelled that class, and the detailed notes for that lecture have been put on the course web site in pdf. To get the lecture or the project, follow the link Project in the table below. On the project page you will see a links to both the lecture and the project. Printed copies of the lecture were handed out in class on Friday Nov. 20.
