COURSE INFORMATION

Exam #2 will be on Thursday November 12 from 2:00 until 3:15 in Dewey 1101 and from 3:25 until 4:40 in Meliora 221, the regular Thursday classrooms. The sections in the class notes which will be covered are 3.2 - 3.6, all of chapters 4 and 5, and 6.1 - 6.2. This is the material covered on homework assignments #4 - 8. The exam will be open book and open notes -- any reference material may be used. Calculators are allowed but laptops are not. The class before the exam, Wednesday November 11, will be a review class. A set of review problems is on the web now and will be handed out in class on Wednesday November 4. The second exam from 2008, with solutions, is available on the web.

Assignment #9 is on the web now. It is due Nov. 18 with bonus and Nov. 19 without bonus.
